Data hosting in MapTiler Cloud is the hassle-free option for storing and serving your maps, regardless of their data size. You can combine your data with ours to build exactly the map you need, and make it instantly available to the audience. No worries about infrastructure downtime, access speed, caching, security and all that stuff.

If you're looking for self-hosting options, check out MapTiler Server and its documentation.

The resources on this page explain how to upload your map data, how to create new custom data in MapTiler Cloud, and how to use the professional data that’s available in MapTiler Cloud out of the box.

Getting started

Working with vector data

Vector data makes it possible to add points, lines, and polygons to a map. You can create them directly in MapTiler Cloud, or import them from a vector data file if you have one ready.

  1. Create and edit custom vector data in MapTiler Cloud
  2. Publish your vector data and integrate it into a map

Tilesets

Map tiles are the main building material for your maps. They contain raw map-ready data and come in tilesets. To see all available tilesets, go to MapTiler Data downloads. Selected tilesets are explained below.
