Installation on Windows
This document shows how to download and install MapTiler Engine on Windows. It is easy.
Step 1 - Download
Download MapTiler Engine from here: https://maptiler.com/engine/download/
If you are downloading the MapTiler Engine installer in Microsoft Edge, this warning may appear. Simply click the “Keep” option or, even better, “Report this file as safe” and then “Keep” to successfully download the MapTiler Engine installer:
Step 2 - Allow (if needed)
Double click the installer to start the installation process. In some cases, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show you a blue window saying “Windows protected your PC”. Simply click the “More info” link:
Then you will see our certificate as a certified publisher. Click the “Run anyway” button at the bottom of the screen to start the installation process on your computer.
Step 3 - Install
Wait for the installation to finish. MapTiler Engine will be opened automatically when it’s done.
