# MapTiler Geocoding – release 2.15.25

This report provides a snapshot of our [Geocoding](https://docs.maptiler.com/cloud/api/geocoding/) services. We regularly update the indexes to integrate the latest data and introduce new search features.

## Main changes

-   **Faster reverse geocoding:** Reverse geocoding responses are faster in this release. The average response time went from **188.78 ms** to **132.43 ms**, and 95% of requests now complete in **160 ms** or less, down from **240 ms**. Applications that resolve coordinates to addresses at high volume benefit the most.
-   **Global data refresh:** Full rebuild of the global indexes, adding **522,485** net new features. This includes **438,834** new POIs, **41,034** new addresses, **16,354** new places, **11,280** new natural and landform features, **8,206** new postal codes, and **3,163** new roads.

## Global and regional changes

-   **Global:** Full data refresh from recent OpenStreetMap updates and database improvements.
-   **Hungary:** Central Hungary (Közép-Magyarország) is no longer returned as an administrative region, following a change in OpenStreetMap.

## Required actions

**None.** This release is fully backward-compatible. All index updates apply automatically. API parameters, index names, and response shapes are unchanged.
