# MapTiler Geocoding – release 2.15.24

This report provides a snapshot of our [Geocoding](https://docs.maptiler.com/cloud/api/geocoding/) services. We regularly update the indexes to integrate the latest data and introduce new search features.

## Main changes

-   **Global data refresh:** Full rebuild of the global indexes, adding **482,444** new POIs, **18,101** new natural and landform features, **16,112** new places, **5,844** new postal codes, and **4,677** new roads. This provides more comprehensive and up-to-date search results for users worldwide.

-   **Global:** Full data refresh from recent OpenStreetMap updates and database improvements.

## Required actions

**None.** This release is fully backward-compatible. All index updates apply automatically. API parameters, index names, and response shapes are unchanged.
