# ImageViewer

The MapTiler `ImageViewer` component displays tiled, non-georeferenced images with interactive navigation similar to a geographical map. This is useful for zoomable floor plans, indoor layout designs, or illustrated maps (such as hotel layouts or theme parks) using pixel-based coordinates instead of latitude and longitude.

You create an `ImageViewer` by specifying a `container` and other options. MapTiler SDK JS then initializes the viewer on the page and returns the `ImageViewer` instance.

**Example**

```js
import { ImageViewer } from '@maptiler/sdk';
const imageViewer = new ImageViewer({
  container: 'map',
  imageUUID: '11111111-2222-3333-4444-555555555555', // unique UUID of the image object
});
```
