# Config ![MapTiler logo](https://docs.maptiler.com/favicon.ico)

The `config` object represents global settings for the SDK. It exposes properties to define global values used by the SDK, such as the API key, map units, and languages.

**Example**

```js
import * as maptilersdk from '@maptiler/sdk';

maptilersdk.config.apiKey = "YOUR_MAPTILER_API_KEY_HERE";
maptilersdk.config.primaryLanguage = maptilersdk.Language.FRENCH;
```
