    Sets a quat from the given angle and rotation axis, then returns it.

        the receiving quaternion
        
    -   axis: [ReadonlyVec3](https://docs.maptiler.com/sdk-js/api-reference/types/Externals.ReadonlyVec3/)
        
        the axis around which to rotate
