# Satellite

Satellite is a mixture of satellite and aerial imagery connected via a _virtual tileset_ that behaves like a single object, pulling image data from several different sources under the hood. The imagery is updated regularly: aerial imagery is as recent as 2026, while satellite imagery dates from 2021–2022.
