# Quick map editing

This page explains how to use the **Quick edit** panel in our no-code map design editor [Map Designer](https://docs.maptiler.com/guides/map-design/editor/) to do basic design tweaks.

## Change colors

In the first section of the panel, it is possible to adjust map colors in two ways.

1\. Change the map appearance in a color picker.

2\. Shift hue, saturation, or lightness.

## Change fonts

Text fonts can be changed in the bottom section called Map Typography. Click on a used font and select a different font family and style.

## Other settings

Other settings, such as map language, units, borders, or position, can be changed in the Settings panel (Alt+S). More information about this is in the [Global map settings](https://docs.maptiler.com/guides/map-design/global-map-settings) article.

## Next steps

Once happy with your edits, [save and publish your map](https://docs.maptiler.com/guides/map-design/how-to-publish-a-map/).
